# Vaptio, three kits compared in figures

> Vaptio in figures, with the Cosmo 2, Cosmo 2 Plus and Tela compared on battery, power, coils and capacity, plus the gaps between spec sheets.

Two thousand, three thousand or fifteen hundred milliamp-hours, 25, 35 or 30 watts, 2 or 3 ml. Under the **Vaptio** name, retailers mostly stock three kits, the Cosmo 2, the Cosmo 2 Plus and the Tela, and their spec sheets line up figures that cannot be compared at a glance. Battery, power, coils, capacity and size serve here as the criteria. The figures still have to be set against one another, and the ones that change from sheet to sheet have to be spotted.

## Vaptio, which kit suits which vaper

For a first device with a tight draw, the Cosmo 2 remains the most readable **Vaptio** kit, with three power levels and a 2 ml tank. The Cosmo 2 Plus is aimed at anyone after the largest battery of the three and power that climbs to 35 W. The Tela suits those who prefer a slim cartridge pod, set by two modes rather than by levels.

That verdict rests on five figures, detailed below. One point unites the three devices, since all of them charge over USB-C according to the sheets consulted.

## The Vaptio kits on five criteria

Neither Cosmo still appears in the maker's catalogue, which now shows only the Tela among these three kits. Their figures therefore come from retailer listings, kept only when two of them agree.

| Criterion | Cosmo 2 | Cosmo 2 Plus | Tela |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery | 2000 mAh, built in | 3000 mAh, built in | 1500 mAh |
| Maximum output | 25 W, in three levels | 35 W | 30 W in Boost, 10 W in Normal |
| Standard capacity | 2 ml | 3 ml (Cosmo A2 tank) | 3 ml, or 2 ml in the TPD version |
| Coils supplied | C5 at 1 ohm and C6 at 0.7 ohm | C5 at 1 ohm and C6 at 0.7 ohm | Nolik-T cartridges at 0.6 and 0.8 ohm |
| Size | mod and tank, 510 connection | 77 x 31 x 26 mm mod, 510 connection | 119.3 x 28 x 16 mm pod |

Both Cosmo kits share their coils and their 510 connection. The Tela runs on its own cartridges, with the coil built in, at 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 or 1.0 ohm according to Vaptio. Choosing a kit therefore also means choosing a family of consumables.

## Battery and power, the mAh per watt index

Battery capacity is the figure that brand pages put forward, and the only one they compare. Taken alone, it ranks the kits poorly, because it says nothing about the power it has to supply.

### Three capacities, three ceilings

Capacity alone ranks the kits as Cosmo 2 Plus, Cosmo 2, then Tela. The Cosmo 2 Plus offers 50% more capacity than the Cosmo 2, and twice that of the Tela.

Set against maximum output, the battery gives a more telling index, the number of milliamp-hours available per watt. The Cosmo 2 scores 80 mAh per watt (2000 divided by 25), the Cosmo 2 Plus about 86 (3000 divided by 35) and the Tela 50 in Boost mode (1500 divided by 30).

The higher the index, the more headroom the battery keeps against the power it can deliver. It does not replace a measured battery life, which none of the sheets consulted puts a figure on, but it places the three kits on a single scale.

### The Tela's Normal mode changes the picture

In Normal mode, which Vaptio sets at 10 W, the Tela climbs to 150 mAh per watt, the highest index of the three kits. Between its two modes, the index therefore triples, a spread that no setting on either Cosmo reproduces.

The maker also states charging at 5 V and 2 A. Dividing capacity by current gives a theoretical order of magnitude of 45 minutes, an estimate Vaptio does not publish and that charging losses lengthen in practice. For the two Cosmo kits, the sheets consulted give neither a charging current nor a charging time.

## Cosmo coils against the ceiling of both mods

Both Cosmo mods take the same range of heads. Their power ceiling can therefore be read against the range of each coil, much like a compatibility grid.

### The grid of six Cosmo coils

Two retailer listings agree on the values and ranges below, except for the C6.

| Coil | Resistance | Stated range |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | 1.6 ohm | 10 to 15 W |
| C2 | 0.7 ohm | 15 to 23 W |
| C3 | 1.2 ohm | 9 to 15 W |
| C4 | 0.7 ohm | 10 to 20 W |
| C5 | 1 ohm | 8 to 13 W |
| C6 | 0.7 ohm, mesh | 15 to 25 W or 15 to 20 W depending on the sheet |

Every one of these ranges fits under the 25 W of the Cosmo 2, and all the more so under the 35 W of the Cosmo 2 Plus. On paper, no head in the range asks for more than either mod delivers. The reasoning matches our [grid of Lost Vape UB Max coils](/uk/lost-vape-ub-max-coils/), where the mod's maximum output decides which heads can be used.

### The C6, a range that varies by sheet

Two retailers give the C6 a range of 15 to 25 W, while a third caps it at 20 W. On the Cosmo 2, limited to 25 W, the kit's top output therefore sits inside the C6 range or above it, depending on the sheet followed. Across those versions, the common band runs from 15 to 20 W.

The Cosmo 2 Plus shows a similar gap on the lowest resistance it accepts. One sheet states 0.40 ohm, another a range of 0.5 to 1 ohm. All six coils in the grid, between 0.7 and 1.6 ohm, stay above both floors.

## Capacity and size, what Vaptio spec sheets say

On capacity as on size, the three kits do not line up, and the sheets for a single kit do not always agree. Two points deserve a check before buying.

### Above 2 ml, the TPD version

The Cosmo 2 states 2 ml, the Cosmo 2 Plus and the Tela 3 ml in their standard versions. In the UK, the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 limit refillable tanks and cartridges to 2 ml.

The Nolik-T cartridge comes in a 2 ml TPD version, according to the maker's sheet. For the Cosmo A2 tank of the Cosmo 2 Plus, the two sheets consulted mention no 2 ml version. One Tela listing even shows a 4.3 ml cartridge in the box contents, which contradicts its own 3 ml figure. Only the capacity printed on the packaging settles the question.

### Height and footprint, gaps of a few millimetres

The Cosmo 2 measures 130 mm tall on two retailer sheets and 126 mm on a third. With the kit gone from the maker's catalogue, no official sheet can settle those 4 mm.

The Cosmo 2 Plus, with its 77 x 31 x 26 mm mod, remains the stockiest of the three. At 16 mm thick, the Tela is the slimmest. The [Kiwi Sparks read through their figures](/uk/kiwi-sparks-specs/) show the same pattern, a spec sheet that does not travel intact from one seller to the next.

## Vaptio kits, the verdict by profile

The five criteria do not name a single winner, but one kit per use. Each profile in the table is paired with the figure that decides it.

| Profile | Kit chosen | Deciding figure |
|---|---|---|
| Newcomer to a tight draw | Cosmo 2 | 2 ml as standard, three levels under 25 W |
| Looking for battery headroom | Cosmo 2 Plus | 3000 mAh, about 86 mAh per watt |
| Pocket cartridge format | Tela | 16 mm thick, 2 ml TPD version |

For a newcomer, the Cosmo 2 wins, because it is the only one of the three that stays within the 2 ml limit in its standard version. The Cosmo 2 Plus makes sense when capacity comes first, provided the capacity of its tank is checked. As for the Tela, it marks the choice of the maker's current platform. In the UK, nicotine-containing e-liquid for any of the three is capped at 20 mg/ml and sold in bottles of no more than 10 ml.

## FAQ

The questions below deal with getting started on the kits and add to the figures covered above.

### What do the lights on the Cosmo 2 mean?

One, two or three lights show the power level, from lowest to highest. The colour reports on the battery, blue above 30% charge and red below.

### Is the Cosmo 2 Plus battery removable?

No. Both sheets consulted describe a built-in 3000 mAh battery, recharged with the supplied USB-C cable.

### Can the Cosmo 2 take a different tank?

Its mod uses a 510 connection, the most widespread threading standard. The sheets do not all give the same top plate diameter, so comparing dimensions is worthwhile before fitting another tank.

### How many coils come in a Cosmo pack?

Five heads per pack, according to the retailer listings consulted. The value is picked from the range grid, from the C1 to the C6.

### Which drip tip fits the Cosmo kits?

Both Cosmo kits take a 510 drip tip. The Cosmo 2 Plus comes with a tip designed for a tight draw, known as MTL.

## Vaptio in figures, what to keep in mind

Three indicators are enough to separate these kits. Capacity set against power shows the battery headroom, the coil grid shows whether the mod covers their ranges, and capacity flags the version to check against the 2 ml limit.

To read any **Vaptio** sheet, the method applies beyond the brand. Values are cross-checked from one sheet to another, then set against each other, and that cross-reading is what turns a list of specifications into comparable markers across the vaping market.
